We are a trusted recruitment partner collaborating with established technology companies across the EMEA region. On behalf of a growing software company, we are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join their remote engineering team on a full-time basis.

About the Role
As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for Android devices. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile solutions.
This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about clean code, modern Android architecture, and delivering seamless mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using modern development standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Conduct code reviews and participate in technical discussions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of mobile app performance optimization and security best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
- Familiarity with Firebase services
- Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing frameworks
- Experience publishing apps on Google Play Store
