About the Role
Confidential Careers, a trusted recruitment partner, is seeking a Trading Business Operations Officer on behalf of a growing trading company in the MENA region. This full-time, remote position focuses on overseeing operational processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting efficient trade execution within a dynamic financial environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with significant experience in trading operations, financial processes, and cross-functional coordination, thriving in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily trading operations, ensuring seamless transaction execution.
- Monitor the entire trade lifecycle, from order processing to settlement and reconciliation.
- Coordinate effectively with brokers, custodians, banks, and counterparties.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regional regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive operational and performance reports for management review.
- Monitor risk exposure and actively support risk management processes.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate trade records and documentation.
- Identify process inefficiencies and proactively implement operational improvements.
- Support the onboarding of new trading partners and accounts.
- Collaborate closely with finance, compliance, and trading desks to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in system enhancements and automation initiatives to boost efficiency.
- Ensure timely and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in trading operations, brokerage, or broader financial services.
- Strong foundational understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
- Proven knowledge of financial markets, including equities, commodities, forex, or derivatives.
- Familiarity with various trading platforms and ERP/financial systems.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically in English.
