About the Role
We are a trusted recruitment partner connecting skilled professionals with dynamic trading and financial organizations across the MENA region. On behalf of a growing trading company, we are seeking a Trading Business Operations Officer to oversee operational processes, ensure compliance, and support efficient trade execution.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in trading operations, financial processes, and cross-functional coordination in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily trading operations and ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Monitor trade lifecycle processes including order processing, settlement, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with brokers, custodians, banks, and counterparties
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulatory requirements
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management
- Monitor risk exposure and support risk management processes
- Maintain accurate trade records and documentation
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement operational improvements
- Support onboarding of new trading partners and accounts
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, and trading desks to resolve discrepancies
- Assist in system enhancements and automation initiatives
- Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in trading operations, brokerage, or financial services
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, and reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of financial markets (equities, commodities, forex, or derivatives)
- Familiarity with trading platforms and ERP/financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
