About the Role

We are a trusted recruitment partner connecting skilled professionals with dynamic trading and financial organizations across the MENA region. On behalf of a growing trading company, we are seeking a Trading Business Operations Officer to oversee operational processes, ensure compliance, and support efficient trade execution.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in trading operations, financial processes, and cross-functional coordination in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily trading operations and ensure smooth execution of transactions
  • Monitor trade lifecycle processes including order processing, settlement, and reconciliation
  • Coordinate with brokers, custodians, banks, and counterparties
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulatory requirements
  • Prepare operational and performance reports for management
  • Monitor risk exposure and support risk management processes
  • Maintain accurate trade records and documentation
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement operational improvements
  • Support onboarding of new trading partners and accounts
  • Collaborate with finance, compliance, and trading desks to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in system enhancements and automation initiatives
  • Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in trading operations, brokerage, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, and reconciliation processes
  • Knowledge of financial markets (equities, commodities, forex, or derivatives)
  • Familiarity with trading platforms and ERP/financial systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
