Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design
We are a trusted recruitment partner, connecting top-tier engineering talent with innovative product-driven companies across the region. On behalf of a fast-growing organization, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Design to join their team remotely across the MENA region.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about transforming ideas into manufacturable, high-performance products. You will lead end-to-end mechanical design activities, from concept development to production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies from concept to production
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis to ensure product reliability
- Conduct design reviews and implement DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, industrial design, and supply chain
- Support prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s is a plus)
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar)
- Experience with prototyping, material selection, and manufacturing processes (Injection molding, CNC, sheet metal, etc.)
- Familiarity with FEA / simulation tools is highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
