Senior Accountant - Full-Time - Remote - MENA

We are a trusted recruitment partner connecting experienced finance professionals with reputable organizations across the region. On behalf of a well-established holding company with diversified business operations, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time remote basis.

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance across multiple business entities within the group. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, and improving accounting processes.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in structured environments and is experienced in multi-entity financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes across group entities.
• Ensure compliance with regional accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal control procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Experience working within holding companies or multi-entity structures is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regional tax frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
