About the Senior Accountant Role at Confidential Careers
Confidential Careers, a trusted recruitment partner, is seeking a Senior Accountant on behalf of a well-established holding company with diversified business operations. This full-time, remote position focuses on managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance across multiple business entities within the group in the MENA region. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in structured environments and possesses experience in multi-entity financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes across group entities.
- Ensure compliance with regional accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support internal control procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
- Experience working within holding companies or multi-entity structures is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regional tax frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
