About the Role

We are a trusted recruitment partner connecting senior technology leaders with high-growth FinTech organizations across the EMEA region. On behalf of a rapidly expanding FinTech company, we are seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to drive enterprise client engagements and deliver secure, scalable financial technology solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant with deep experience in financial systems, digital payments, and regulated environments who can bridge complex business requirements with robust technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical consulting engagements for banking, payments, or financial services clients.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable solution architectures.
• Design and oversee integrations with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
• Provide architectural guidance for cloud-native FinTech platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security frameworks, and data protection standards.
• Conduct technical workshops and stakeholder sessions with executive and IT teams.
• Support pre-sales activities including solution design, technical proposals, and RFP responses.
• Oversee implementation quality, risk management, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor consultants and act as a subject matter expert within the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, or FinTech implementation.
• Strong experience in digital payments, open banking, lending platforms, or core banking systems.
• Deep understanding of API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of financial compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR).
• Experience working with enterprise clients across EMEA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fully remote environment.
