Assistant Finance Manager | Full-Time | Remote (MENA Region)

On behalf of a fast-growing software solutions company, we are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Finance Manager to support and strengthen their finance function. This is a full-time remote opportunity, open to candidates across the MENA region.
About the Role
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play an essential role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring operational efficiency within the finance department. Your contributions will directly support business growth, compliance, and informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes in line with accounting standards
- Monitor daily financial activities, including cash flow, payables, receivables, and general ledger entries
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline finance processes
- Contribute to financial modeling and provide insights to support strategic initiatives
- Coordinate with external auditors and maintain accurate documentation for audit requirements
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and legal standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of IFRS or relevant local GAAP standards
- Experience using accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
