About the Role
We are looking for a People Advisor – Employee Lifecycle & Operations to join our People Team in Munich. You will report directly to the People Director Germany and work closely with our local and global People Teams.
As a People Advisor – Employee Lifecycle & Operations, you will be part of our People Team in Munich while working closely with our global People functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation). You will play a central role in the operational implementation of all HR topics along the entire Employee Lifecycle, ensuring that our processes are efficient, structured, and service-oriented. You will work in a small, powerful team with a high degree of personal responsibility and direct proximity to the business. The role combines consulting and implementation, with a clear focus on hands-on responsibility in daily business. We work in a hybrid model (4/1) in our very modern office at Oskar-von-Miller-Ring in the heart of Munich.
What You Will Do:
- End-to-end support of the Employee Lifecycle for defined areas.
- Point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related issues.
- Independent implementation of operational HR processes (e.g., contracts, contract changes, probation periods).
- Creation and management of employment contracts and personnel-related documents.
- Ensuring high data quality in our HR systems (Workday / ADP/ Haufe).
- Close collaboration with People Operations & Payroll to ensure smooth processes.
- Support and execution of onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Collaboration with global teams and implementation of international HR processes at the local level.
- Support in recruiting processes in close coordination with our Talent Acquisition Team.
- Participation in local and global HR projects, audits, and compliance topics.
- Support for the People Director on local initiatives and organizational matters.
Important: This role is not purely advisory but includes clear operational responsibility.
Who You Are:
- You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in HR (e.g., as an HR Generalist, People Ops, or People Advisor).
- Experience in the Employee Lifecycle and operational HR processes.
- You have independently implemented HR processes, not just supported them.
- Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in driving things forward independently.
- Structured, careful, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Very good communication skills and a confident demeanor.
- Team player with a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of German labor law is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
What We Offer:
- 30 days of vacation.
- Hybrid working and flexible working hours.
- Condé Nast Linkedin Learning Hub, where you can find all learning courses and training developed by Condé Nast, as well as over 16,000 courses in seven national languages.
- A wide range of wellness benefits, including discounts at gyms and swimming pools, and bouldering halls through our E-Gym membership.
- Attractive employee offers and benefits.
- Work in one of the most exciting, international, and exclusive media companies with global collaboration.
- Our office is located directly in the heart of Munich with very good public transport connections.
- Employee Assistance Program “stg”.
- Participation in various global “ERGs” (Employee Resource Groups) offers Condé Nast employees a platform to identify commonalities, pursue goals, exchange ideas, and work on common priorities for our global collaboration in the areas of Diversity & Inclusion, PRISM, Environment, Women Network, and more.
- Work at one of the Top 1% Leading Employers 2026 Germany.
