Condé Nast Video has experienced rapid growth, boasting an extensive digital distribution network with over 50 million YouTube subscribers and ranking among the top 20 sites for unique visitors in comScore's Top 100. With over a billion video views on average per month, the team currently produces over 4,000 videos annually across all genres, including unscripted shows, documentaries, tutorials, comedies, animations, scripted shows, branded shows, virtual reality shows, and live shows.

We are seeking a Creative Producer, Video to oversee the programming, creative direction, and production of videos related to Condé Nast's prestigious brands in the French market, within the Video department.

As a Creative Producer, you will collaborate with the Executive Director, Creative Strategy & Development, and the Heads of Editorial Content for each brand. You will participate in developing a video programming plan, and designing and producing video series that highlight the iconic attributes of the brands to drive audience growth on digital platforms and foster monetization.

Video Production Includes:

  • Original content, social videos, and podcasts for global digital platforms (e.g., O&O, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok), focusing on high-quality and scalable production.
  • Syndicated series for the French market.
  • Scalable, high-quality video franchises across multiple platforms and markets.

This position is based in Paris and reports to the Executive Director, Creative Strategy & Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Heads of Editorial Content and the Executive Director, Creative Strategy & Development in planning, conceptualizing, and producing/directing video series that highlight brand attributes, drive audience growth, and foster monetization.
  • Conceptualize and produce sponsored editorial content in close collaboration with the Condé Nast Creative Commercial team, and design branded content in collaboration with the Head of Editorial Content and the Executive Director, Creative Strategy & Development.
  • Lead and manage video shoots from end to end.
  • Write and edit preliminary and final treatments, outlines, production schedules, and final cuts for all assigned programs under the supervision of the Head of Editorial Content.
  • Shoot certain social videos (and edit if necessary) and provide detailed notes on cuts made by the Condé Nast post-production team.
  • Collaborate with the VP, Global Physical Production on post-production and production management to deliver series on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • In conjunction with production management, facilitate shoot logistics, including coordinating/booking crews and equipment, managing/tracking location contracts, location permits, risk assessments, travel arrangements, and production-related costs/budgets.
  • Assist in managing video budgets in collaboration with the VP GPP, Production Coordinator, and Head of Editorial Content.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Booker to engage top on-screen talent.

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 3 years of experience in video content production and development across various platforms, with a passion for and interest in internet culture and digital media.
  • Deep knowledge of and marked interest in brand content.
  • Proven experience in directing productions.
  • Experience in managing relationships with high-profile talent – celebrities and experts (and their representatives) – professionally and discreetly, as a brand representative.
  • Strong understanding of the production and post-production process.
  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with a journalistic flair.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines.
  • Must be a master communicator and always solution-oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and provide insights on projects.
  • Ability to shoot and conduct interviews in the field, studio, or by any means necessary.
  • Take a hands-on approach to directing production, providing clear instructions, working closely with team members in the field/studio, and stepping in throughout the video production cycle as needed.
  • Professional English proficiency is required.
