About the Role
Be a part of the newly opened Homewood Suites/Hampton Inn Boston Woburn. We are looking for people that have a passion to serve others! This can be a part-time (16 hours/week on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) up to full-time (up to 40 hours/week with three additional 3 PM-11 PM or 7 AM-3 PM shifts). Working at the front desk means you are at the hub of the hotel with the most interaction with our guests. Your role is key to the overall experience the guest will have. Your keen sense of being proactive, responsive, and caring will make all the difference. Role Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Clerk or Guest Services Clerk, you are responsible for giving our guests the best hospitality experience they can have by:
- Assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times.
- Maintaining a high level of service and hospitality.
- Promptly and effectively dealing with guest concerns or issues and ensuring all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner.
- Posting guest charges, collecting payments, and following all cash handling procedures as required by Concord.
- Handling guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism.
- Being knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers).
- Being a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns.
- Responding quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance.
- Having full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures.
