About the Role
Computershare is excited to offer a FinOps Analyst position based in the Edinburgh office. This new role in a brand-new team will help define the future of financial operations and cloud cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report on cloud spend and usage summaries.
- Analyze usage patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and execute FinOps processes aligning with ITSM workflows.
- Prepare historical spend reports and usage trend analysis.
- Monitor policy compliance related to cloud usage and cost control.
What You Will Bring
You should have a strong understanding of FinOps practices, excellent data analysis and reporting skills, and proven experience in a similar role within a complex organisation. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with finance, engineering, and operations teams.
Technical Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and AWS.
- Ability to create and maintain PowerBI and Grafana dashboards.
- Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting abilities.

Work Arrangement
This role requires you to be in the Edinburgh office at least three days a week, with additional flexibility to work from home.
