About CompileTrust
We are an early-stage, stealth-mode startup building an AI-native coding platform designed to radically streamline software development. Think of it as the next evolution in AI pair programming, code synthesis, and agent-based dev workflows. We are preparing for our pre-seed raise and seeking a technical co-founder (CTO) to join our founding team (Currently 2 Members).
Role Overview: CTO Co-Founder AI Coding Startup
As our CTO Co-Founder AI Coding Startup, you will lead the technical vision, architecture, and build-out of the core platform. This is a founding role — you’ll own all things technical: from driving engineering to influencing product direction, from team formation to infrastructure scaling. If you’re a builder, technically elite, and excited about code as data, agents, and large-model-driven dev environments, this is your calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the engineering roadmap from MVP to production.
- Own technical architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps (initially hands-on).
- Contribute directly to full-stack development (backend/frontend/AI model integration).
- Work closely with the CEO to refine product vision and roadmap.
- Hire and manage future technical hires (engineers, ML engineers, etc.).
- Interface with investors and advisors as a technical representative.
- Stay current with AI/LLM research relevant to code generation and automation.
Ideal Profile
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with startup exposure.
- Deep understanding of modern dev tools, IDEs, and developer workflows.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, particularly with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Code Llama, etc.).
- Experience with full-stack development (Node.js, Python, or Rust preferred).
- Comfortable building and scaling cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Bare Metal, Docker, CI/CD).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working with LangChain, vector DBs (e.g., Weaviate, Pinecone), or agent frameworks.
- Background in devtools, code intelligence, or similar.
- Prior startup/founding experience.
