Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services to lead all dining and nutrition operations at a 100-bed acute care hospital just outside Knoxville, TN. This pivotal leadership role drives operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction across all services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee patient dining, retail, and clinical nutrition services.
- Manage budget, cost controls, and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and food safety standards.
- Lead, develop, and hold managers and staff accountable.
- Improve patient satisfaction and overall service quality.
- Partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Nutrition, Hospitality, Business, or related field).
- 5+ years of healthcare food service leadership experience.
- Strong financial and operational management skills.
- ServSafe required (or ability to obtain).
- Registered Dietitian preferred.
