Overview
Fresh & Ready Foods, part of Canteen from Compass Group North America, is seeking a Regional Sales Director - Fresh & Ready. This role focuses on new business development for commissary sales across diverse channels including grocery, regional airports/airlines, convenience/retail, healthcare, education, and hospitality.
The position features a base salary with uncapped commissions and a total earning potential exceeding $125K. Additional benefits include annual bonus payouts, 401k, expense account, company vehicle, phone, fully paid Sales Excellence trip, paid vacation, and various insurance and wellness benefits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan for net new revenue.
- Manage full cycle selling including prospecting, discovery, solution design, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with Culinary, QA, Production, and Logistics teams to meet food safety and operational standards.
- Build data-driven business cases and present to multi-stakeholder buying teams.
- Maintain CRM pipeline, provide updates and conduct quarterly business reviews.
- Represent the brand at industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
- Proven track record exceeding quota in foodservice/CPG or fresh prepared/grab and go sales.
- Experience converting self operated prospects in sectors such as healthcare, education, grocery, convenience, hospitality, and airport/airline concessions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative sales skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales cycles and disciplined CRM usage.
- Understanding of operational aspects like pack sizes, shelf life and regulatory food safety standards.
