The Meeting and Event Coordinator role at Meeting and Event Coordinator for Compass Group USA is dedicated to delivering white glove service to guests. As part of the Rapport division of FLIK Hospitality Group, you will focus on meeting and event planning, conference center management, and exceptional guest and employee services.

Job Summary

This role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating with various service teams, and ensuring all event details are executed with professionalism and precision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Anticipate project needs and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and holding requests using client scheduling software.
  • Communicate event details, including attendee counts, catering, and tech needs.
  • Act as the liaison with tech, catering, facilities, and external vendors.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to verify meeting setups and event space readiness.
  • Assist with meet and greet services for high profile clients.
  • Participate in event walkthroughs and weekly coordination meetings.
  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Maintain professional, prompt, and courteous service at all times.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
