Business Development Representative at Compass

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Growth Partner, you will generate net-new pipeline opportunities by educating Compass Agents on contributing to strategic growth. This role involves partnering with agents, executing outbound activities, and collaborating with Strategic Growth Managers to drive business development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts.
  • Conduct cold calls, texts, emails, and LinkedIn campaigns.
  • Articulate Compass' value proposition and handle objections effectively.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Growth Managers to refine prospecting strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Analyze market data and create demand in emerging geographies.
  • Engage with leads through creative follow-up communications.
  • Participate in a formal training program to pave the way for future growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (SDR, Direct Sales, Customer Success, Account Management).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized with experience managing multiple deadlines.
