Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and assist with treatments.
• Administer anesthesia and perform procedures under veterinarian guidance.

• Ensure patient care standards are maintained during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• At least one year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVY certified & licensed.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in handling animals and proper restraint techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
• Proficiency in computer-based veterinary software.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk on hard surfaces for long periods.
• Prepared to work in noisy and occasionally hazardous environments.
