Job Details

Overview

The IDD Program Specialist at Community Resources for Independence is responsible for monitoring and reporting functions related to IDD program participants through the Office of Developmental Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Intake and enrollment of new participants
  • Assist in training and mentoring Direct Support Professionals
  • Attend participant meetings, including ISP and behavioral support plan meetings
  • Prepare and submit monthly, biennial, and annual progress reports
  • Review participant logs and track progress towards ISP goals
  • Evaluate participant service needs for hab aide or community integration services
  • Review and document each participant’s ISP with direct care workers
  • Train direct care workers on program requirements and job duties
  • Assist with audits, state audit preparations, and conduct Certified Investigations
  • Participate in supervisory on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to pass background checks and maintain a satisfactory driver's record
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Obtain and maintain Office of Developmental Program Certified Investigator certification
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Availability for meetings outside normal work hours, including evenings or weekends

Location & Schedule

Office located in Altoona with travel to Altoona, Somerset, and Indiana. Full time - 35 hours per week and on-call rotation requirements.
