Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

  • Support IDD clients in meeting Service Plan goals
  • Participate in community integration and social engagements
  • Provide companionship and engaging activities
  • Accompany clients to appointments
  • Engage in team meetings and share client progress
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and professionals with empathy

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Successful completion of background checks
  • Availability for alternate weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
