Role Overview

The Operations Manager strengthens our capacity to feed our neighbors through strong leadership, operational excellence, and innovative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Oversight & Compliance: Develop and implement policies, ensure regulatory standards (Feeding America, USDA, OSHA) are met.
  • Strategic Planning & Decision-Making: Analyze inventory and partner data to guide decisions and planning.
  • Partner Engagement: Liaise with partner agencies and deliver training on compliance and best practices.
  • Data, Analysis & Reporting: Manage systems like Meal Connect and Primarius for accurate tracking.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise staff, mentor team members, and represent operations in leadership meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 3–5 years of progressive operations or compliance management experience. A valid driver’s license is required and food safety certification is preferred.

Physical & Work Environment

Primarily administrative and analytical work with minimal lifting (up to 50 pounds). Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work during events/emergencies.
