About Your Role
The Associate Private Banker is a member of the team of Analysts and Associates supporting Private Bankers through value add solutions. Core duties include fulfilment of loan applications (consumer and commercial) for Private Bank, the coordination of all matters relating to the establishment and ongoing maintenance of client loan facilities, money market transactions such as completing rollovers for both borrowing and investment bills, and maintaining client records amongst other customer services duties and lending enablement support.Your Responsibilities
- Fulfilment of all credit applications (Consumer and Commercial) and once client confirms, initiate documentation process and track file through to funding/settlement
- Oversee progress of deal execution through to conclusion to ensure timely and efficient delivery of clients’ needs and requirements
- Manage portfolio workflow on a daily basis by delivering exceptional customer service in all dealings, reflected in a positive lift in the NPS results for Team and CP
- On boarding of new clients and opening of all new accounts
- Process all maintenance transactions and work with relevant support team to enable client requests ( e.g. funds transfers, IMTs and TDs)
- Control all data integrity, portfolio cleansing including duplicate clients, unlinked accounts and unlinked relationships
- Undertake title/company searches, ordering valuations, Trust Deed investigations and further income verification when required
- Support Private Bankers with reporting systems
- Pro-active review of service to Private Bankers and service workflow on a daily basis
- Proactively educate clients to use digital capabilities to enhance the service experience via online facilities such as Netbank, CommBiz for funds transfers etc where appropriate
- Work closely with analyst team members to deliver on relevant compliance and quality activities
- Proactively identify customer needs and opportunities to refer to bankers
About You
To be successful you will be passionate about customer service, ensuring a superior overall level of service is delivered to your valued clients. In addition to this you will have:- Demonstrated customer service experience from within a banking/lending environment, ideally with experience in a relationship management or similar role
- Consumer or Commercial product knowledge and experience
- Strong understanding of CommSee system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customer and stakeholders
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline e.g. Banking, Commerce (desirable)
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
