Job Overview

The Quality and EHS Audit Specialist at Comfort Research, LLC is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and environmental, health, and safety regulations. In this role, you will conduct inspections and audits of materials, production processes, and finished goods, document non-conformances, and support corrective actions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and audits of incoming materials, production processes, and finished goods.
  • Document and report non-conformances and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update quality management (QMS) documentation.
  • Conduct product testing and support calibration of quality equipment.
  • Conduct safety audits, monitor EHS programs, and support emergency response planning.
  • Provide training on Quality and EHS practices and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to quality and EHS metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and safety.

Additional Duties

Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Support Operations team in shared goals and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience (Op III positions or above for internal candidates).
  • Experience in quality assurance and/or EHS roles.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
