Primary Purpose

The Project Manager - Grid Resiliency will manage or support senior project managers in handling transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects. This role involves overseeing project scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance. The projects typically have budgets ranging from $250K to $5 million and might require extended hours during emergencies.

Primary Duties

  • Manage overall project performance across multiple disciplines.
  • Control costs, schedule, scope, and associated risks.
  • Interface with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project issues to executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Coach team members and secure necessary project resources.

Job Scope

This individual contributor role involves active project management, including business case development, budget approval, scheduling, financial analysis, regulatory liaison duties, and more. Extensive interaction with senior management, customers, and government/regulatory officials is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/business or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years relevant project management experience or equivalent practical exposure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Passport).
  • Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-specific experience or knowledge (Utility design/planning, IT).
  • Certifications such as CAPM or PMP.
  • Proven track record in project management and budgeting.

Benefits

Annual salary ranges from $80,800 to $111,100. Additional benefits include a 10% annual bonus, 401(k) match with annual company contribution, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability insurance, generous PTO, employee assistance programs, wellbeing programs and more.
