Senior Business Development Specialist

Job Summary

This Finance position in Business Services will be responsible for processing, analyzing, routing, and approving complex customer deals submitted by the Sales and Engineering teams in the NED regions. This requires a knowledge of financial calculations including IRR, NPV, and cash flow.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for E-rate, responsible for processing E-Rate opportunities and providing financial analysis on won/lost E-Rate RFPS. An understanding of LCP is a plus.
• Document and update processes and procedures for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement best practices.
• Act as a key contributor within a complex and crucial business environment.
• Utilize strong communication and advanced Excel skills for daily tasks.
• Leverage experience with Orion and Salesforce CRM systems.
• Operate effectively in a very fast-paced environment, interacting daily with sales, engineering, and product teams.
• Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Act as a resource and trainer for other team members.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Mid-Market product offerings and configurations (e.g., Ethernet, Networks, Active Core/SD Wan/Firewalls, DDoS).
• Supervisor experience is a plus, including covering for approval in a manager's absence.
