The Quality and Automation Engineer 3 is responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and automating tests to ensure reliability and consistency across front-end, middleware, and database systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts to ensure testable user stories documented in Azure DevOps
  • Create and execute regression tests and automated tests using Visual Studio, Selenium, and other tools
  • Develop, execute, and document test plans via Azure DevOps
  • Identify and log bugs using TFS with detailed reproduction steps
  • Test web services with Fiddler or Postman and write automated scripts for SOAP/RESTful APIs
  • Maintain automation codebase using version control systems such as GIT or SVN
  • Perform code reviews, diagnose broken test cases, and repair scripts
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
