About the AI Architect Role at Columbus

Columbus seeks an AI Architect who combines strong business acumen, strategic thinking, deep technological insights, and an entrepreneurial drive. This high-impact role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, with a commercial mindset and a curiosity for AI's potential to revolutionize operations, decisions, and customer experiences.

You will join a team of 20 skilled colleagues in Denmark, collaborating broadly across business units and markets, reporting to Director, Lasse Brandt Petersen.

This position is available in Middelfart, Aalborg, Ballerup, or Aarhus.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Design AI-Driven solutions: Architect innovative business solutions enhanced with AI and identify scalable AI use cases.
• Drive AI adoption: Inspire clients through ideation workshops, proof-of-concepts, and governance models that showcase AI’s business value.
• Be a trusted advisor: Guide clients through AI transformation, ensuring solutions align with strategy and compliance.
• Collaborate across teams: Work with delivery, sales, and architects across markets and business units, contributing to pre-sales and solution development.
• Build AI capabilities: Establish Columbus’ AI foundation within business applications, developing reusable tools and best practices.
• Stay ahead of tech trends: Track new AI developments and share insights to upskill colleagues.
• Deliver value: Ensure high-quality implementations and meet project goals through impactful, billable service delivery.

What You Bring

We are looking for a skilled professional with solid experience in business process and systems, coupled with a strong grasp of AI principles and their application in real business scenarios. You should have a good working knowledge of the Power Platform, Azure AI foundry, and be comfortable navigating across both technical and commercial domains.

AI competencies include generative AI, Agents and agentic AI, NLP, and related fields. You should have practical experience implementing these tools in business. An understanding of implicit AI capabilities within Microsoft business solutions and the ability to design tailored solutions are also essential.

A growth-oriented and commercially minded approach is crucial, constantly seeking value creation through innovation. Fluency in both Danish and English is essential for cross-team and cross-market collaboration.
