Overview

Columbia University School of Professional Studies seeks an Adjunct Lecturer Digital Transformation for the M.S. in Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program. This role involves teaching a course on Digital Workplace & Digital Transformation either online synchronously via Zoom or in-person starting Spring 2026.

Responsibilities

Conduct lectures, manage classroom sessions, and oversee course administration.

  • Attend weekly class sessions (110 minutes).
  • Prepare course materials and manage the Canvas webpage.
  • Monitor student inquiries and conduct office hours.
  • Evaluate and grade student assignments with teaching assistant support.

Qualifications

Applicants must have previous graduate-level teaching experience, extensive knowledge in digital transformation frameworks, and first-hand experience in managing digital workplace challenges. A Master’s degree is required; a Doctoral degree is preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

Classes meet once a week from mid-January to late April. Compensation for the semester is between $10,000 and $15,000.
