Position Information
This position is for a Research and Data Analyst at the Colorado Judicial Branch. The role involves managing specific programs or serving as a project leader to develop improved managerial procedures and practices in Colorado's court systems.

Statement of Duties
General Responsibilities: Manage programs or lead projects with significant time dedication (50%+). Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, checking products, scheduling tasks, and establishing standards.
Specific Tasks:
- Plan, administer, and implement state-wide court programs and projects.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures within the state court system.
- Evaluate organizational practices and propose recommendations for change.
- Draft reports, forms, procedures, and administrative directives.
- Analyze proposed legislation and judicial processes for potential impact.
- Provide guidance and indirect supervision to field staff.
The role involves collaborating within a team of analysts in the Research and Data Unit that supports judicial leadership, court programs, and public needs by providing quality statistical and policy analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data analysis, process evaluation, performance measurement, data visualization and legislative analysis is highly valued. Proficiency in tools such as Cognos, Power BI, and MS Office is desirable.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job is based in a quiet office environment at the Ralph Carr Judicial Center in Denver. Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds) and multi-tasking during peak times are required.
