Senior MES Specialist

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the operations and configuration of the core MES platform. Join a dynamic ERP team at Coloplast, where you will help deliver innovative IT solutions that support all core functions across the value chain — from Manufacturing and Distribution to Sales and Finance. Our team thrives on creativity and close collaboration with the business, driving governance and development of our ERP landscape and supporting platforms.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the operations and configuration of the core MES platform used to support production processes. This includes ensuring effective data collection and integrations, enabling real-time reporting for shop floor operators, and providing a solid development platform for OT applications. You will also maintain alignment with industry standards and stay updated on technological advancements in MES.

• Set up and configure the platform, monitoring performance and carrying out development though an RFC process – as well as do the technical support of the platform.
• Carry out machine data integrations.
• Create system processes supporting the development of OT applications.
• Collaborate with OT application developers on new projects as well as with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between MES and other systems (e.g., ERP).
• Do cost optimization of platform.
• Handle support cases including problem management of reoccurring cases.

Qualifications

Solid Experience With MES Platforms. We are looking for a collaborative teammate who is creative, able to translate business needs into IT solutions, and proactive in finding the best solutions for our stakeholders. • Hold minimum a B.Sc. in IT, Business or Engineering combined with solid specialist experience with MES Platforms.
• Have experience from an international organization, working cross borders teams.
• Have project participation experience and a good business understanding.
• Demonstrate deep and broad knowledge within own domain and continuously develop further knowledge.
