About The Role
We’re looking for a full-stack IC Product Design Lead to join our Design team at Collective. This is a ground-floor opportunity in a design-driven company offering autonomy, ownership, and significant impact across the entire product. You will evolve our design process, own entire projects, and contribute to the development of a diverse team that champions our users’ voices and ships incredible experiences every day.
What You'll Do
You will deeply understand our customers’ needs, business objectives, and industry trends to imagine and create paradigm-changing experiences. Your responsibilities include:
- Establishing a high bar for visual polish and intuitive interactions.
- Defining customer and business problems clearly.
- Exploring broad-to-narrow design solutions.
- Ideating, designing, launching, and improving products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, operations, sales, and marketing.
- Optimizing for execution velocity while maintaining quality.
- Contributing to a robust and refined design system.
What You'll Bring
A successful candidate will have:
- 6 - 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
- A demonstrated impact on product strategy and customer experience.
- Outstanding UX, visual design, UI/UX, copywriting, and systems design skills.
- A passion for turning complex problems into simple, engaging solutions.
- A solid grasp of the end-to-end design process.
- An ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to guide design decisions.
- Strong systems thinking to connect the dots across the customer journey.
