Infrastructure Architect - Cloud and Telecom Focus

Overview

Collabera is seeking an Infrastructure Architect - Cloud and Telecom Focus to work on a 12-month contract with potential extension. This role is within the Telecom industry and involves designing, documenting, and implementing system architectures that align with product visions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Development Managers to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and document end-to-end system architecture.
• Select technologies, frameworks, and platforms for performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate design feasibility.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on technical support to development teams.
• Oversee system integration with existing enterprise platforms, including test plans.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation with diagrams, design decisions, and best practices.
• Monitor post-launch performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Haves

• 8+ years in software development or system architecture with 3+ years as a Solution Architect.
• Strong proficiency in system design, API integration, cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
• Expertise in scalability, performance optimization, and security-by-design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
