Job Description
Senior UX/UI Designer
You design websites that make people stop scrolling. You think in systems and in stories. You're as comfortable mapping a complex user journey as you are crafting a visual identity that hits hard on first scroll — and you know that great design has to convert.
Who we are
Colibrity is a Paris-based premium digital agency working with large enterprise clients across Europe. We operate at the intersection of design excellence and technical precision — delivering corporate websites, immersive branded experiences, e-commerce platforms, and AI-powered digital products that are built to perform. We work with ambitious clients who have high standards, and we match them.
The role
You'll own the full design cycle on ambitious web projects — from early discovery through to handoff-ready Figma files. You'll work across three registers:
- Corporate & product websites — user journeys, content hierarchy, navigation clarity, polished UI execution. You design with conversion in mind from the first wireframe: clear funnel logic, CTA hierarchy, intentional page structure. Designs are built to be A/B tested post-launch, and you're involved in defining the variants and success metrics upfront
- E-commerce — product discovery, purchase flows, and conversion-optimised interfaces where every interaction is deliberate and measurable
- Immersive & narrative experiences — storytelling structure, scroll logic, interaction flows, carried through to final visual design
Your deliverables span the full pipeline: user research, information architecture, wireframes, UX specs, moodboarding, visual design, component systems, annotated Figma files ready for development.
What we offer
- Projects with real creative ambition — enterprise clients, high standards, no compromise on quality
- A structured async workflow — clear review checkpoints, no micromanagement
- Long-term collaboration — we invest in people who invest in the work
- A team that speaks design seriously, from brief to build
- €20–€35/hour || €2,800–€4,900/month
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of professional UX/UI experience — portfolio covering live websites and digital products
- Expert Figma — components, auto-layout, variables, interactive prototypes, handoff-ready specs
- Strong UX methodology — user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, usability testing
- Conversion-driven design mindset — funnel logic, CTA hierarchy, designing pages structured for A/B testing and post-launch iteration
- Strong visual sensibility — typographic precision, hierarchy, obsessive attention to detail
- Solid understanding of web development constraints — responsive logic, HTML/CSS structure, CMS architectures — you design with developers in mind
- Proven range across corporate, e-commerce, and immersive/creative visual registers
- Agency experience — multi-stakeholder projects, defined timelines, clear async communication
On AI-assisted design
We expect you to use AI workflows actively — research synthesis, flow generation, moodboarding, prototyping acceleration. That's standard here. The rule is non-negotiable: every decision — AI-assisted or not — must be fully owned, validated, and controlled by you. We don't accept raw AI outputs. You ship it, you own it.
Nice to have
- WordPress or Shopify ecosystem experience (Gutenberg blocks, theme architecture)
- Familiarity with GSAP or CSS animation — defining motion intent before implementation
- Experience structuring A/B test variants and working with analytics teams post-launch
- WCAG accessibility knowledge
- SEO and content architecture basics
- French language skills (not required — we work in English)
To apply include in your message
- Portfolio link — live websites you designed or contributed to, not just Figma files
- Your role on each project and how your work translated into the final implemented product
- Brief description of your process on a complex multi-page project
- Your experience working alongside developers in agency environments
No live website references = no review.
