About the role
Network Engineer
Cole Haan is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their IT Operations team. Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, this role is responsible for the design and day-to-day network operations supporting Cole Haan's North American and international corporate offices, cloud vendors, and retail stores. You will collaborate with IT application teams, vendor teams, and internal support teams on both project and operational initiatives to enhance, stabilize, and maintain the network computing environment with a focus on efficiency, stability, functionality, and security.Core Accountabilities
- Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure network software is up-to-date with the latest security patches.
- Continuously optimize network configurations for improved speed and reduced latency.
- Develop and enforce network security policies against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure network security measures comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance and identify potential issues.
- Plan for future network capacity needs based on usage trends and business growth.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Self-starter able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- 3+ years of relevant cloud connectivity experience (Azure/AWS/OCI).
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering, managing complex network environments.
- Experience with LAN/WAN networking technologies (Wired & Wireless).
- Experience with firewall and VPN configuration and maintenance.
- Experience with Fortinet Routers/Switches/Firewalls.
- Experience supporting Distribution Centers and RF Gun connectivity.
- Experience with Wireless LAN Troubleshooting and remediation.
- Experience with Fortinet Network Systems and Meraki SD-WAN.
- Experience with remote office connectivity and VPN support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary/Hourly Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually + bonus.
