About the role

Head of GTM Engineering - ColdIQ

ColdIQ is a B2B go-to-market platform that empowers fast-growing companies to build pipeline through modern GTM systems. We integrate outbound, content, and paid media to craft revenue-focused strategies for SaaS and AI companies. We are launching an innovative API-first product enabling GTM teams to orchestrate campaigns using advanced AI agents like Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and Hermes Agent.

The Role

This is a founding role at ColdIQ, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of GTM Engineering. You will be instrumental in building our new API-first product and our internal GTM Operating System. The role is divided into two phases:

Phase 1: Client Implementations

Your initial focus will be on leading the implementation of our product for early clients. You will build and validate GTM Operating Systems and GTM Brains using Claude Code in a collaborative, 'done-with-you' delivery model. Your primary metric will be the quality of these implementations.

Phase 2: Head of GTM Engineering

As the product matures and our client base expands, you will transition to leading the GTM Engineering function company-wide. This involves defining our engineering standards, tooling, and architecture for building and scaling GTM systems internally and for clients. You will hire and mentor a team of GTM Engineers, translate client feedback into product improvements, and collaborate with leadership to define our GTM Engineering vision.

Responsibilities

Phase 1: Client Implementations

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of GTM Operating Systems for ColdIQ clients.
  • Build and validate GTM Brains using Claude Code and our integrated ecosystem.
  • Engage in a 'done-with-you' model, building alongside clients.
  • Ensure high implementation quality and iterate based on real-world usage and outcomes.
  • Document successful strategies and develop the delivery playbook.

Phase 2: Head of GTM Engineering

  • Lead GTM Engineering as a core company function.
  • Define standards, tooling, and architecture for GTM system development.
  • Hire, manage, and develop a team of GTM Engineers.
  • Translate implementation learnings into company-level product and process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and leadership to shape the GTM Engineering vision.

What We're Looking For

  • Genuinely hands-on GTM Engineer with a proven ability to build systems.
  • Demonstrable experience with Claude Code or equivalent LLM-based automation (non-negotiable).
  • Deep understanding of GTM principles, including B2B funnels, outbound, enrichment, CRM, and system integration (non-negotiable).
  • Background in Head of GTM, Head of Growth, RevOps, or GTM Engineering roles.
  • Comfortable in client-facing interactions, able to articulate technical solutions.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and capable of owning complex implementations.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Experience building multi-tool automation pipelines and programmatic service connections.
