About Coinbase and the Role
At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom worldwide using crypto and blockchain technology. As a Transaction Monitoring Compliance QA Analyst, you will work within our Compliance Operations Quality Assurance team conducting QA audits on transaction monitoring system (TMS) cases, supporting our AML/CFT initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform QA reviews on TMS cases using a quality rubric.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify procedural gaps.
- Assist on second line of defense reviews and provide timely responses to findings.
- Lead calibrations, office hours, and training sessions for new joiners.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics, Escalations, Financial Crime Compliance, and L&D teams.
- Create, present, and discuss metrics, dashboards and insights.
- Apply in-depth regulatory and AML knowledge to complex cases.
What We Look For
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in QA, audit, or financial crime investigation, a solid understanding of BSA/AML regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
