Overview

As a TMS Compliance QA Analyst IV, you will be a crucial part of the Compliance Operations Quality Assurance team, auditing transaction monitoring system (TMS) cases to support Coinbase’s AML/CFT program.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of TMS cases based on a quality rubric.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify procedural gaps.
• Lead calibrations and office hours supporting other QA analysts.
• Train new analysts and validate their practice cases.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, Escalations, Financial Crime Compliance and L&D teams.
• Present QA findings and metrics in weekly dashboards.
• Assist in 2LoD reviews and provide timely responses to findings.

What We Look For

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on QA, audit, or financial crime investigation experience, sound knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, and strong skills in analytics, communication, and problem solving. Experience with crypto exchanges, advanced proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets, and familiarity with JIRA and Salesforce Service Cloud are beneficial.

Work Environment

This role requires in-person participation throughout the year including team and company-wide offsites, although Coinbase maintains a remote-first culture. Expect a challenging environment with high-caliber teams and real impact.
