Role Overview

The Senior Manager Data Loss Prevention role is responsible for building and leading the Data Loss Prevention Team. Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, you will establish the long term vision and strategy for the DLP Program, build scalable processes, and implement next-gen technologies to identify, manage, and contain data security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand data loss prevention capabilities to protect the Coinbase ecosystem.
• Establish vision and strategy for the data loss prevention program.
• Evaluate and direct complex designs across a decentralized tech environment.
• Provide technical mentorship on implementing and deploying DLP tools.
• Enhance operational efficiency using LLMs and agentic AI.
• Advise CISO and Senior Leadership on emerging data protection threats.
• Produce metrics to inform leaders of program impact and challenges.
• Collaborate with Security, Privacy, and Risk Teams to address global regulations.
