Overview

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom through crypto and blockchain technology. As a Product Designer II - Consumer Trading, you will work on building part of our advanced trading platform, designing intuitive and powerful trading tools for professional users.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience
  • Take new features from ideation to prototyping, user testing, and production
  • Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive
  • Participate in regular design reviews and incorporate feedback
  • Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
  • Collaborate daily with Engineering, User Research, and Product teams

What We Look For

  • 3+ years of professional Product Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
  • Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
  • Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
  • Collaborative mindset with low ego

Nice to Haves

  • Interest in crypto or financial products
  • Experience with Coinbase products
  • Knowledge of onchain activities (Ethereum, ENS, dApps)

Additional Information

This role is part of the Coinbase Advanced Trading Design Team. Although many roles are remote-first, in-person attendance is expected during team offsites and key events throughout the year.
