TMS Compliance QA Analyst IV - Coinbase Careers Page

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. This role is part of the Compliance Operations Quality Assurance team and is responsible for conducting QA audits on transaction monitoring system (TMS) cases in support of Coinbase's AML/CFT program.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform QA reviews of TMS cases based on quality rubric.
  • Assist on 2LoD reviews and respond promptly to findings.
  • Lead calibrations and conduct office hours for QA team support.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and identify procedural gaps.
  • Train new analysts and validate practice cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Data Analytics, Escalations, Financial Crime Compliance, L&D) to enhance workflows.
  • Present QA findings and recommendations through weekly metrics/dashboards.
  • Apply in-depth regulatory knowledge in complex cases.

What we look for in you:

  • 6+ years of hands-on QA, Audit, or Financial Crime Investigation experience.
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML laws, regulations and rules.
  • ACAMS or equivalent AML qualification.
  • Experience in metrics reporting and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, with a high work ethic and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience at crypto exchanges or in financial services.
  • Project management, analytics, or quality assurance experience.
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or legal.
  • Advanced understanding of Google apps, JIRA, and Salesforce Service Cloud.

This position is full time with in-person attendance required throughout the year, including team offsites.
