Role Overview - TMS Compliance Analyst II

This role on the CX Compliance team focuses on Transaction Monitoring investigations. You will conduct end-to-end reviews for customers, analyze transaction activity and KYC information, document your findings, and decide if suspicious activity warrants escalation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigative reviews for BSA/AML compliance policies.
  • Analyze transaction data and KYC details using internal tools.
  • Document investigations with detailed written narratives.
  • Decide and escalate suspicious activities for SAR filing.
  • Incorporate feedback from Quality Assurance to improve processes.
  • Maintain detailed records for regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current with evolving KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC standards.
  • Review systems data following Coinbase procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years compliance experience in transaction monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC laws and financial product regulations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Availability for a 24*7 environment in an office setting.

Nice to Have

  • Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE).
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or CX.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud.

Work Environment & Additional Information

This position requires full-time, on-site attendance. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times a year to foster collaboration and alignment.
