Team Environment

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

About Developer Experience

The Developer Experience (DevX) org empowers our engineers to develop, build, test, and release high-quality code quickly and reliably. We do this by building products and systems that cater to the needs of Coinbase engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining mobile infrastructure using React Native and related technologies.
• Creating and enhancing developer tools to streamline the mobile development process.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improve app performance.
• Implementing automation for app releases and ensuring seamless OTA updates.
• Engaging in code reviews and providing mentorship to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in React Native or strong experience in iOS/Android with willingness to learn React Native.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript as our tools use these languages.
• A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Nice to Haves

• Track record of contributing to scalable mobile applications.
• Experience with mobile infrastructure and developer tooling.
• Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin.
• Knowledge of cross-platform development practices.
• Experience in a fintech environment.

Pay Transparency Notice

Depending on your work location, target annual salary can range from $180,625 to $212,000 USD. Full-time offers include bonus, equity, and benefits.
