About the Role

At Coherent, we’re transforming financial services and building high-impact products. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will ensure our platforms are rock-solid, user-friendly, and scalable by automating tests across UI, API, and integration layers.

What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like

  • Write clear and concise test cases and test plans.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Cypress and Postman.
  • Develop modular, scalable, and reusable test components for various testing types.
  • Implement custom Cypress plugins, commands, and utilities.
  • Execute and monitor automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct regression testing and document bugs clearly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand features and technical details.
  • Create and maintain Postman collections for comprehensive API testing.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and improve QA processes.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Report and track defects effectively.
  • Perform BVT after each deployment using automation scripts.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You should possess 4+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in fast-paced software environments with deep expertise in Cypress and Postman/API automation. Proficiency in JavaScript, familiarity with Git, and a keen analytical mindset are essential. Excellent communication and a proactive team attitude are also required.

Nice to Have

Experience with performance/load testing tools, security testing, CI/CD tools, containerized environments, and other automation tools like Selenium or Playwright is advantageous.
