Product Management At Cohere

The Product Manager Search and Embeddings role involves working on core models, APIs and end-to-end products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to train and evaluate models, deliver products, and ensure successful GTM and customer satisfaction.

The Search and Embeddings Role

This role focuses on improving retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and traditional search products. Key responsibilities include managing Embeddings (Embed-v4.0), Rerank (Rerank-v3.5), and Compass (Cohere’s Search Solution), and evaluating search performance across products and models.

In This Role, You Will:

• Define strategic priorities and roadmap for enhanced retrieval model performance.
• Collaborate with product, finance, GTM, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Drive product strategy and monetization in a competitive AI landscape.
• Engage with customer data and research papers to stay SOTA.

Qualifications

You should have at least 4+ years of product management experience along with a minimum of 1+ year working on search products and embedding/reranking models. A degree in CS, ML, or a related field is preferred, and experience in technical environments with cross-functional teams is essential.
