Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by thoroughly analyzing customer requirements, creating and executing test plans, and identifying issues throughout the development lifecycle.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and customer representatives, to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing all customer requirement documents (FRS, HLD, etc.)
- Responsible for creating test plans and test cases
- Running tests while using multiple simulators and analysis tools
- Identifying issues and opening bugs using specific tools
- Performing all assigned tasks by respecting the deadlines of each step of the project
- Analyzing and understanding quality risks
- Reporting the QA activities and results regarding the project’s progress and milestones
- Participating in all QA activities throughout the project stages
- Participating in meetings with customer representatives on assigned projects along with architects, developers, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as a software tester with complex systems
- Knowledge in SQL, Linux, Wireshark
- Testing experience with 3G, 4G, VoLTE and 5G is an advantage
- Testing experience in IP protocols (VOIP, TCP/IP, FTP, etc.) is an advantage
- Take end-to-end responsibility of the project and work independently
- Experience in QA methodologies and testing documents
- Bachelor’s degree – computer science/information technology
- Very good knowledge of client-server architecture
- Experience of end-to-end testing across multiple systems
- Experience with quality center, JIRA or equivalent
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Able to work in a dynamic environment
- Able to work with deadlines
- Travel availability (short period)
