Original Job Summary
Senior QA Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by thoroughly analyzing customer requirements, creating and executing test plans, and identifying issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirement documents such as FRS and HLD.
- Create test plans and test cases.
- Run tests using various simulators and analysis tools.
- Identify issues and log bugs using specific tools.
- Perform tasks within project deadlines.
- Analyze quality risks and report QA activities and milestones.
- Participate in all QA activities throughout project stages.
- Attend meetings with customer representatives, architects, and developers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a software tester with complex systems.
- Knowledge in SQL, Linux, and Wireshark.
- Experience testing with 3G, 4G, VoLTE and 5G (advantageous).
- Experience in testing IP protocols such as VOIP, TCP/IP, FTP (advantageous).
- End-to-end project responsibility and independent work style.
- Experience with QA methodologies and testing documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT.
- Strong understanding of client-server architecture and multi-system testing.
- Experience with Quality Center, JIRA or equivalent tools.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- Travel availability for short periods.
