Senior QA Engineer at Cognyte
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by thoroughly analyzing customer requirements, creating and executing test plans, and identifying issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirement documents (FRS, HLD, etc.)
- Create test plans and test cases
- Execute tests using various simulators and analysis tools
- Identify issues and log bugs using specific tools
- Meet deadlines for each project phase
- Assess and report quality risks
- Report QA activities and project progress
- Participate in meetings with customer representatives, architects, and developers
Requirements
- 3-5 years of QA experience with complex systems
- Knowledge in SQL, Linux, and Wireshark
- Advantageous: Testing experience with 3G, 4G, VoLTE, 5G, and IP protocols (VOIP, TCP/IP, FTP)
- Experience with QA methodologies and testing documents
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT
- Good understanding of client-server architectures
- Experience with quality center, JIRA or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel for short periods
