Mid QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the Scrum team to define and execute comprehensive functional and non-functional testing strategies.
  • Analyze customer requirements (FRS, HLD) to develop test plans and scenarios.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks during development.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases using simulators and analysis tools.
  • Report and track defects and testing progress using bug tracking systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional software testing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Expertise in QA methodologies and test documentation practices.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with issue tracking and test management systems (e.g., Quality Center, JIRA).
  • Availability for international travel on a quarterly basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
  • Understanding of SQL database querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with Linux command-line interfaces and IP/telephony protocols.
