Job Description
About the Role
The TOSCA Senior QA Automation Engineer at Cognizant is part of a cross-functional team working in Romania with one of Eastern Europe's largest Software Product Engineering delivery networks. The role involves creating test plans, developing automated test cases, and ensuring high product quality for global clients spanning Banking, Healthcare, Retail, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Define test objectives, create test plans, and develop automated test cases.
- Perform testing against specifications and drive continuous process improvement.
- Innovate and enhance existing tools or develop new automation tools.
- Gain in-depth understanding of the product's business knowledge.
- Identify and propose QA process improvements to increase product quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Advanced experience with TOSCA testing.
- Advanced OOP knowledge; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with scripting and automation frameworks: Selenium, Junit, Nunit, TestNG, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- API testing (Rest API, SOAP API) and database SQL command skills.
- Experience with version control tools like Git and SVN as well as CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of man-in-the-middle proxy tools and performance testing tools such as Jmeter, LoadRunner, Grafana k6.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and strong English communication skills.
