Solutions Architect at Cognizant
Cognizant is actively seeking a dynamic Solutions Architect to enhance our Workday consulting team. In this role, you will leverage your profound Workday implementation expertise to ensure that all proposed solutions precisely meet client needs and transition seamlessly into successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive end-to-end solution and design details throughout the sales process.
- Support the Business Development Lifecycle by acting as a product Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assisting the lead Sales representative in qualifying business development opportunities.
- Support initial Cognizant client proposals and facilitate the entire proposal process.
- Ensure a smooth client transition through the approved and formal Sales to Delivery process.
- Mentor and guide junior resources, actively promoting knowledge sharing across various practices.
- Contribute input on project staffing decisions based on the requirements within your solution area.
- Collaborate with Directors and Vice Presidents of Delivery to establish professional development opportunities within the solution area.
- Support Marketing Activities by speaking and presenting Collaborative Solutions at industry trade conferences.
- Develop effective tools to assist the Sales team with accurate project effort estimation for each functional area.
- Actively participate in pre-sales meetings and oral presentations in person.
- Accurately estimate the effort and resources required to successfully complete projects, specifically within your areas of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent extensive work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of actual implementation experience is required.
- Strong Workday implementation experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong end-to-end implementation experience with HR, Financial, or Student Information Systems is essential.
Salary and Other Compensation
Applications for this position will be accepted until April 5, 2026. The annual salary for the Solutions Architect role at Cognizant ranges between USD $106,326 and USD $159,489, dependent on the successful candidate's experience and other qualifications. This position also qualifies for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, which is based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
