About the Role

The Pega Lead System Architect role at Cognizant is part of one of the largest Pega practices globally. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Pega solutions using Pega PRPC and related frameworks. This role requires excellent technical, design, and implementation skills along with industry certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise class structure, data, and application models.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and compliance with Pega best practices.
  • Lead technical teams from inception to transition.
  • Interact with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Coach and mentor team members and ensure robust solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to meet business objectives.
  • Utilize centralized Pega support resources and adhere to guardrails.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must have hands-on experience with Pega PRPC, particularly on Pega 8.x (PEGA Infinity) and Insurance frameworks. A minimum of 6 years as a Pega PRPC Developer and a mandatory PEGA Lead System Architect certification are required. Experience in industries such as Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities is preferred. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, open source technologies, web development, and databases is essential.
